Bradshaw’s was established in 1938. Bradshaw’s set the standard for auto repair and transmission rebuilds in the Portland area. News traveled fast that Bradshaw’s was the place to take your vehicles for repairs, and good advise. Bradshaw’s vision was to create a neighborhood shop where local residents and businesses could take their cars and know they are in good hands. An honest auto repair shop that would listen to customers and “Fix what the customer brought their vehicle in first and foremost the first time.” We never lose sight of the fact that a satisfied customer is what built our business and continues to bring back customers time and time again.
As a pioneer in the auto repair business Bradshaw’s quickly became a pioneer in the transmission repair business also. In 1958 Bradshaw’s expanded adding a transmission rebuilding center. Then in 1981 the original building needed to be expanded again to accommodate the automotive and transmission departments. The new building was built over the original building that still exists today. In 2015 Bradshaw's opened a second location in NE Portland on 73rd and Fremont Street.
You can still find Bradshaw’s located on the same corner doing business with the same values that made Bradshaw’s the most trusted shop in Portland.
